Soft matter deals with many kinds of themes around bizarre states of matter and mobilizes accordingly various communities, from physics and biophysics to chemistry, and from fluid or solid mechanics to applied mathematics. Starting from a central topic, namely interfaces, the school will explore the different scales inherent to soft matter issues, and celebrated by scaling laws approaches. The goal of the school is to equip students and young researchers with the state of the art knowledge in soft matter, pointing to the novel perspectives developing in the field.
